Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa

एधितव्यमेधनीयमिति कृत्ये निदर्शनम् । भावे कर्मणि कृत्याः स्युः कृतः कर्तरि कीर्तिताः ॥ ८९ ॥

edhitavyamedhanīyamiti kṛtye nidarśanam | bhāve karmaṇi kṛtyāḥ syuḥ kṛtaḥ kartari kīrtitāḥ || 89 ||

“เอธิตวฺยม” และ “เอธนียม” เป็นตัวอย่างของรูปกฤตฺยะ (kṛtya). ปัจจัยกฤตฺยะใช้เมื่อเป็นความหมายภาวะ (bhāva) หรือกรรมณิ (karmaṇi); ส่วนรูปกฤต “กฤต” ใช้เมื่อมุ่งหมายผู้กระทำ (kartari). ๘๙
