Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It establishes the Śrīmad Bhāgavata as a supremely authoritative Purāṇa—“brahma-sammitam”—and frames it as a Veda-aligned revelation meant to be heard with reverence.
By glorifying the Bhāgavata Purāṇa—traditionally centered on Bhagavān and devotion—it signals that hearing (śravaṇa) such a text is itself a foundational bhakti practice.
The verse emphasizes textual lineage and authority (who composed it—Vedavyāsa—and its Veda-equivalent status), a key practical principle for śāstra-study rather than a specific Vedāṅga technique like Jyotiṣa or Vyākaraṇa.
