Narada (in a phalaśruti-style instruction, within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents a phalaśruti principle: reciting the Nāradīya Purāṇa in sacred and learned settings (Śiva’s shrine, Viṣṇu’s shrine, or a dvija assembly) is treated as a highly meritorious act that sanctifies the speaker and listeners.
By validating recitation in both Śiva and Keśava temples, the verse highlights devotional practice centered on nāma-kīrtana/purāṇa-kīrtana and shows sectarian harmony—Bhakti expressed through hearing and chanting sacred narrative.
It emphasizes correct public recitation (kīrtana/pāṭha) before qualified audiences (dvija-mukhya), aligning with Śikṣā (proper phonetics) and Vyākaraṇa-informed clarity in chanting and teaching.
