नमस्कृत्य निजं गेहं समाप्य नियमं व्रजेत् । एवं कृते व्रते विप्र लब्ध्वा सौभाग्यमुत्तमम् ॥ ३८ ॥

เมื่อกราบนอบน้อมต่อเรือนของตน (เทวะประจำเรือนและธรณีประตู) แล้วทำข้อปฏิบัติให้ครบถ้วน จึงค่อยออกเดินทาง โอ้พราหมณ์ เมื่อทำพรตเช่นนี้ย่อมได้มาซึ่งสิริมงคลสูงสุด
