Narada (teaching in a dharma-ritual context, within the Narada Purana dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none (closure steps within an Ekādaśī/vrata context)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that a rite becomes spiritually complete through respectful service (upacāra), nourishing the learned (dvijas), and giving dakṣiṇā—transforming worship into dharma through gratitude, generosity, and proper closure.
Bhakti is expressed here as reverent service and giving: honoring worthy recipients, offering gifts without miserliness, and maintaining humility by formally taking leave—devotion embodied as disciplined, sattvic conduct.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure) and Dharmashastra-style sequencing: perform upacāras, feed the dvijas, give dakṣiṇā, then visarjana; only afterward should the householder eat with family.
