Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: Śrī-Rāmanavamī-vrata
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It teaches that Śrī Rāmanavamī is not only a ritual day but a devotion-centered vrata supported by dāna (charitable gifting), aligning worship with generosity and dharmic conduct.
Bhakti is emphasized as the inner motive (bhaktyā) behind the observance; the external acts—gifts like cows, land, sesame, gold, clothes, and ornaments—become meaningful when performed as offerings to Śrī Rāma with devotion.
Ritual procedure and gifting norms (kalpa-style vrata/dāna practice) are implied—what items are auspicious for donation during a vrata and how devotional intent governs the rite.
