Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It identifies Mahānandā as a bliss-giving tīrtha and prescribes core purifying acts—snāna, dāna, japa, homa, and upavāsa—as the means to gain merit and inner upliftment there.
By highlighting japa and disciplined observances at a sacred tīrtha, it supports bhakti through repeated remembrance and worshipful acts that steady the mind and orient life toward the divine.
Ritual practice is foregrounded—especially homa (yajña procedure) and japa (mantra discipline), which rely on correct mantra usage and rite-performance principles associated with Vedic ritual knowledge.
