Narada
Vrata: Umā-vrata (continuation)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It states the karmic fruit (phala) of a prescribed Āṣāḍha observance: prosperity and refined enjoyments in this life, followed by attainment of Svarga after death.
While not explicitly naming a deity, it reflects the Purāṇic principle that disciplined observances (vratas) performed with faith and purity lead to auspicious destinations; in many Narada Purana contexts such vratas are ultimately oriented toward devotional merit.
Kalpa/ritual timing is emphasized: the observance is tied to the lunar calendar—Āṣāḍha month and both pakṣas—showing the importance of correct vrata-kāla (ritual time).
