Narada
Vrata: Śarkarā-saptamī
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It elevates a specific vrata—Śarkarā-saptamī—as a powerful dharmic observance whose merit is equated with major śrauta rites, emphasizing accessible paths to punya and inner relief.
By praising a vrata’s transformative results (relief from suffering and auspicious family continuity), the verse supports the Purāṇic model where disciplined observance offered in devotion becomes a practical vehicle for grace and well-being.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is implicitly foregrounded—this is a vrata-phala statement linking correct observance to specific results, reflecting the Purāṇic application of ritual science to household practice.
