Narada (teaching, addressing a sage interlocutor as 'mune')
Vrata: Ṣaṣṭhī-vrata (contextual; chapter-level)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It states the fruit (phala) of properly performed Śiva-worship: prosperity and refined enjoyments in life, culminating in attaining Śiva’s supreme destination—linking ritual devotion with both worldly welfare and final liberation.
Bhakti is presented as practical worship (arcana) accessible to all—men and women alike—where sincere devotion expressed through ritual leads to grace, first as upliftment in life and ultimately as spiritual attainment.
The verse functions as a phala-shruti typical of ritual sections, implying correct performance of arcana (kalpa/ritual procedure). It does not directly teach a Vedanga like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa, but supports the Kalpa-oriented idea that properly executed worship yields defined results.
