FAQs

It links specific devotional/ritual observances with tangible spiritual “fruit”: reverence to Nāga-deities is said to grant desired outcomes, and Jyeṣṭha pañcamī is highlighted as an auspicious time for honoring the Pitṛs, strengthening ancestral merit and dharmic continuity.

Bhakti here is expressed as reverential worship (abhyarcana) toward revered cosmic beings—Nāgas and Pitṛs—showing that devotion is not only inward contemplation but also disciplined, time-specific acts of honoring sacred relationships upheld by Purāṇic dharma.

It reflects Jyotiṣa/Vedic calendrical practice through the use of tithi (pañcamī) and the month marker (Jyeṣṭha), emphasizing that correct timing is integral to ritual efficacy in Narada Purana’s dharma-oriented instructions.
