Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 44

The exposition of the Pañcamī vow to be observed in the twelve months

। सहस्तोमाइति ऋखा नामनन्त्रैस्तु वा पृथक् । पुण्यैर्मन्त्रैस्तथैवान्यैर्हुत्वा पूर्णाहुतिं चरेत् ॥ ४४ ॥

| sahastomāiti ṛkhā nāmanantraistu vā pṛthak | puṇyairmantraistathaivānyairhutvā pūrṇāhutiṃ caret || 44 ||

โดยสวดฤคเวทบทที่ชื่อว่า “สหสฺโตมา” หรือทำแยกด้วยมนตร์เฉพาะของตน แล้วถวายอาหุติด้วยมนตร์อันเป็นมงคลและมนตร์ที่กำหนดอื่น ๆ จากนั้นประกอบปูรฺณาหุติเป็นบทสรุป
