It teaches that a vow’s completion (udyāpana) must be done with sincere devotion and ethical purity—especially honesty in spending and offerings—so the rite becomes spiritually effective rather than merely formal.
Bhakti is defined here as heartfelt performance of sacred duties without hypocrisy; devotion is not separated from integrity, cleanliness, and proper honoring of divine powers in the ritual sequence.
Ritual procedure (Kalpa) is implied: preparing a purified maṇḍapa and maṇḍala, and performing prescribed arcana (worship) beginning with Gaṇeśa and other devas as part of correct udyāpana protocol.
