upacāraiḥ ṣoḍaśabhirbhavānīmabhipūjayet | putrāndehi dhanaṃ dehi saubhāgyaṃ dehi suvrate || 22 ||
Narada (instructional narration within the ritual description)
Vrata: Svarṇa-Gaurī Vrata (continued context)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It frames devotion (upāsanā) as disciplined worship: by honoring Bhavānī through the complete set of sixteen offerings, the devotee aligns desire with dharmic ritual order and seeks blessings through reverent prayer.
Bhakti here is expressed through pūjā and direct supplication—approaching the Goddess with respectful offerings and heartfelt requests, showing dependence on divine grace rather than mere personal effort.
Ritual procedure is emphasized: the verse specifically points to ṣoḍaśopacāra (the standardized sixteen-fold pūjā sequence), a practical application of kalpa-style ritual discipline used in Purāṇic worship manuals.
