Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It elevates vastra-dāna (donating clothing) to a high-merit act: giving clothing to a brāhmaṇa is declared to yield Brahmaloka, emphasizing compassion and support of dharmic life.
Though framed as dāna, it supports bhakti-oriented dharma: serving the Lord’s order by honoring and sustaining those devoted to Vedic duties, cultivating humility and selfless giving aligned with devotional conduct.
It reflects kalpa-style practical dharma (ritual and conduct): the prescription of a specific gift (vastra) to a qualified recipient (brāhmaṇa) and the stated phala (result), a common Purāṇic-ritual framework.
