किमेतन्नाभिजानामि जानन्नपि महामते ।
यत्प्रेमप्रवणं चित्तं विगुणेष्वपि बन्धुषु ॥
kim etan nābhijānāmi jānann api mahā-mate |
yat prema-pravaṇaṃ cittaṃ viguṇeṣv api bandhuṣu ||
ข้าแต่มหาจิตผู้ประเสริฐ สิ่งนี้คืออะไรที่ข้าพเจ้ามิได้เข้าใจโดยแท้ แม้จะรู้มาก—ว่าทำไมจิตจึงเอนเอียงไปสู่ความรัก แม้ต่อญาติผู้ไร้คุณธรรม?
