तस्य मन्वन्तरे देवान् मुनिदेवेन्द्रपार्थिवान् ।

कथ्यमानान् मया ब्रह्मन् निबोध सुसमाहितः ॥

tasya manvantare devān munidevendrapārthivān | kathyamānān mayā brahman nibodha susamāhitaḥ ||

โอ พราหมณ์ ในมนวันตระนั้น จงฟังด้วยความตั้งใจยิ่ง เมื่อเราจะพรรณนาเหล่าเทพ ฤๅษี พระอินทร์ และบรรดากษัตริย์ (ปารถิวะ) ให้ทราบ
