इति श्रीमार्कण्डेयपुराणे स्वारोचिषे मन्वन्तरे त्रिषष्टितमोऽध्यायः । चतुःषष्टितमोऽध्यायः- ६४ ।

मार्कण्डेय उवाच एवं विमुक्तरोगा तु कन्यका तं मुदान्विता ।

स्वरोचिषमुवाचेदं शृणुष्व वचनं प्रभो ॥

ดังนี้ บทที่หกสิบสามในศรีมารกัณฑेयปุราณะ แห่งสวาโรจิษมนวันตระ ได้สิ้นสุดลง บัดนี้เริ่มบทที่หกสิบสี่ มารกัณฑยะกล่าวว่า—แล้วหญิงสาวนั้นพ้นจากโรคและเปี่ยมด้วยความยินดี จึงกล่าวแก่สวาโรจิษะว่า ‘ข้าแต่ภควัน โปรดสดับถ้อยคำของข้า’
