Adhyaya 61 — The Second Manvantara Begins: The Brahmin’s Swift Journey and Varuthini’s Temptation on Himavat
ब्राह्मण उवाच मा मां स्प्राक्षीर्व्रजान्यत्र दुष्टे यः सदृशस्तव ।
मयान्यथा याचिता त्वमन्यथैवाप्युपैषि माम् ॥
brāhmaṇa uvāca mā māṃ sprākṣīr vraja anyatra duṣṭe yaḥ sadṛśas tava | mayā anyathā yācitā tvam anyathaivāpy upaiṣi mām ||
พราหมณ์กล่าวว่า “อย่าแตะต้องเรา จงไปที่อื่นเถิด นางผู้ชั่วร้าย เพราะผู้เช่นเจ้าเป็นผู้เสื่อมทราม แม้เราจะถามเจ้าในทางหนึ่ง แต่เจ้ากลับเข้ามาหาเราในอีกทางหนึ่งโดยสิ้นเชิง”
