दृष्ट्वा चैतं द्विजसुतो हिमवन्तं महाचलम् ।

श्वो द्रक्ष्यामिति संचित्य मतिञ्चक्रे गृहं प्रति ॥

dṛṣṭvā caitaṃ dvijasuto himavantaṃ mahācalam /

śvo drakṣyāmīti saṃcintya matiñcakre gṛhaṃ prati

ครั้นได้เห็นหิมวัต มหาภูผานั้นแล้ว บุตรพราหมณ์คิดว่า “พรุ่งนี้เราจักได้เห็นอีก (ให้ยิ่งขึ้น)” แล้วจึงตั้งใจจะกลับสู่เรือนตน।
