homāgni-devatā-dhūpa-bhasmanā ca pariṣkriyā | kāryāḥ kṣīrādi-bhāṇḍānām evaṃ tad-rakṣaṇaṃ smṛtam ||

พึงชำระให้บริสุทธิ์ด้วยความศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งเทวะแห่งไฟโหมะ ด้วยธูปและเถ้าศักดิ์สิทธิ์—โดยเฉพาะภาชนะใส่น้ำนมและสิ่งคล้ายกัน ดังนี้เป็นคำสอนว่าด้วยการคุ้มครองของสิ่งเหล่านั้น
