ततो भूमेश्च संयोगादोषध्यस्तास्तदा भवन् ।

अफालकृष्टाश्चानुप्ता ग्राम्यारण्याश्चतुर्दश ॥

tato bhūmeś ca saṃyogād oṣadhyas tās tadā bhavan /

aphāla-kṛṣṭāś cānuptā grāmyāraṇyāś caturdaśa //

ต่อมา ด้วยการประสานกันของแผ่นดินกับสายน้ำนั้น จึงบังเกิดพืชโอสถในกาลนั้น—มิได้ไถด้วยผาล มิได้หว่านด้วยเมล็ด—มีสองจำพวก คือพืชเพาะปลูกและพืชป่า นับได้สิบสี่
