The Pitṛs’ origin in pure sattva elevates ancestor-veneration as linked with purity, continuity, and subtle order; it supports the ritual importance of śrāddha and lineage duties.
Sarga: emergence of a key cosmological class (Pitṛs) that later grounds ritual and dharma.
‘Becoming pitṛ-like in thought’ implies that intention (bhāva) shapes manifestation; subtle beings arise according to archetypal cognition within the creator.
