Adhyaya 48 — The Emanation of Beings from Brahma: Night, Day, Twilight, and the Orders of Creation
तदन्धकारे क्षुत्क्षामानसृजद् भगवानजः ।
विरूपान् श्मश्रुलानत्तुमारब्धास्ते च तां तनुम् ॥
tad-andhakāre kṣut-kṣāmān asṛjad bhagavān ajaḥ / virūpān śmaśrulān attum ārabdhās te ca tāṃ tanum
ในความมืดนั้น พระผู้เป็นสิริ อชะ (ผู้ไม่เกิด) ได้ทรงสร้างหมู่สัตว์ผู้ซูบผอมด้วยความหิว รูปร่างพิกลและมีเครา; แล้วพวกเขาก็พากันเข้าจะกัดกินกายนั้น
