एवं ब्रह्मा जगत्पूर्वो देवदेवश्चतुर्मुखः ।

रजोगुणं समाश्रित्य स्त्रष्ट्टत्वे स व्यवस्थितः ॥

evaṃ brahmā jagatpūrvo devadevaś caturmukhaḥ | rajoguṇaṃ samāśritya straṣṭtve sa vyavasthitaḥ ||

ดังนี้ พรหมา ผู้เป็นเทพเหนือเทพ ผู้มีสี่พักตร์ และมีอยู่ก่อนโลกทั้งปวง อาศัยคุณะแห่งรชัส จึงดำรงมั่นในฐานะผู้สร้างสรรพสิ่ง.
