Adhyaya 44Subahu’s Counsel to the King of Kashi and Alarka’s Renunciation through Yoga

तत्ते संक्षेपतो वक्ष्ये तदिहैकमनाः शृणु ।

श्रुत्वा च सम्यगालोच्य यतेथाः श्रेयसे नृप ॥

tat te saṃkṣepato vakṣye tad ihaika-manāḥ śṛṇu / śrutvā ca samyag ālocya yatethāḥ śreyase nṛpa //

ข้าจะบอกแก่ท่านโดยย่อ; จงฟัง ณ ที่นี้ด้วยจิตแน่วแน่ ครั้นได้ฟังแล้วและใคร่ครวญโดยชอบแล้ว ข้าแต่พระราชา จงเพียรเพื่อประโยชน์สูงสุดของพระองค์
