Learning becomes transformative only when retained and lived. Remembering the guru (‘feet’) symbolizes commitment; retaining the teaching in the heart is the start of disciplined application.
Ancillary instruction (upadeśa) embedded in narrative; not a cosmological lakṣaṇa.
‘Feet in memory’ is an inner enthronement of the guru-principle. When instruction is ‘established in the citta,’ it indicates saṃskāra formation supportive of samādhi and liberation.
