सम्पूजयेद्यथाशक्ति गन्धपुष्पादिभिस्तथा ।

न मित्रमतिथिं कुर्यान्नैकग्रामनिवासिनम् ॥

sampūjayed yathāśakti gandhapuṣpādibhis tathā / na mitram atithiṃ kuryān naikagrāmanivāsinam

พึงบูชาต้อนรับตามกำลัง ด้วยของหอม ดอกไม้ และสิ่งอื่น ๆ ไม่พึงนับมิตรสหายว่าเป็น “อทิถิ” และไม่พึงนับผู้พำนักอยู่ในหมู่บ้านเดียวกันเช่นนั้น
