ततः प्रहृष्टः प्रतिलभ्य कान्तां प्रणम्य नागं निजगाम सोऽथ ।

सुशोभमानः स्वपुरं तमश्वम् आरुह्य संचितितमभ्युपतेम् ॥

tataḥ prahṛṣṭaḥ pratilabhya kāntāṃ praṇamya nāgaṃ nijagāma so ’tha |

suśobhamānaḥ svapuraṃ tam aśvam āruhya saṃcintitam abhyupatem ||

ครั้นแล้วเขาปีติยินดี ได้คืนคนรักดังเดิม กราบนอบน้อมแด่นาคแล้วจึงกลับมา เขาผ่องใสขึ้น ขึ้นม้าตัวนั้นและมุ่งสู่มหานครของตน โดยยึดมั่นในปณิธานที่ตั้งไว้
