अश्वतर उवाच मायैयं पुत्र ! मा स्प्राक्षीः प्रागेव कथितं तव ।

अन्तर्धानमुपैत्याशु माया संस्पर्शनादिभिः ॥

aśvatara uvāca māyeyaṃ putra! mā sprākṣīḥ prāgeva kathitaṃ tava |

antardhānam upaity āśu māyā saṃsparśanādibhiḥ ||

อัศวตระกล่าวว่า—“ดูก่อนเด็กน้อย นี่คือมายา อย่าแตะต้องเลย เราได้บอกเจ้าไว้ก่อนแล้วว่า เมื่อพยายามสัมผัสหรือเกี่ยวข้อง มายาย่อมสลายหายไปโดยเร็ว”
