कस्मान्नानीयते वत्सावुपकाराय मानदः ।

एवमुक्तौ ततस्तेन पित्रा स्नेहवता तु तौ ॥

Transliteration

kasmān nānīyate vatsāv upakārāya mānadaḥ |

evam uktau tatas tena pitrā snehavatā tu tau ||

Translation

“ลูกที่รักทั้งสองของเรา เพื่อทดแทนคุณความช่วยเหลือของเขา โอ้ผู้ประทานเกียรติ เหตุใดจึงยังไม่พาเขามา?” เมื่อกล่าวดังนี้ บิดาผู้เปี่ยมด้วยความเอ็นดูก็เอ่ยกับทั้งสองด้วยถ้อยคำอ่อนโยน।
