दुकूले शार्ङ्गकः पापो हृते चैवांशुके शुकः ।

तथैवाजाविकं हृत्वा वस्त्रं क्षौमं च जायते ॥

dukūle śārṅgakaḥ pāpo hṛte caivāṃśuke śukaḥ | tathaivājāvikaṃ hṛtvā vastraṃ kṣaumaṃ ca jāyate

ผู้ใดลักดุกูละ (ผ้าละเอียดประณีต) คนบาปนั้นย่อมเกิดเป็นนกศารังคกะ; ผู้ใดลักอังศุกะ (เครื่องนุ่งห่มเบา) ย่อมเกิดในโยนีแห่งนกแก้ว. และผู้ใดลักผ้าขนสัตว์ (อาชาวิกะ) ย่อมได้กำเนิดที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับเกษามะ คือผ้าลินิน/ผ้าใยป่าน.
