Adhyaya 14The Messenger of Yama Explains Karmic Retribution and the Causes of Naraka Torments

भुङ्क्ते श्राद्धन्तु योऽन्यस्य नरोऽन्येन निमन्त्रितः ।

दैवे वाप्यथवा पित्र्ये स द्विधा कृष्यते खगैः ॥

bhuṅkte śrāddhantu yo 'nyasya naro 'nyena nimantritaḥ / daive vāpyathavā pitrye sa dvidhā kṛṣyate khagaiḥ

ผู้ใดได้รับเชิญจากคนหนึ่งแต่กลับกินเครื่องบูชาศราทธะของผู้อื่น ไม่ว่าในพิธีบูชาเทพหรือพิธีบูชาบรรพชน ผู้นั้นถูกฝูงนกฉุดกระชากฉีกออกเป็นสองส่วน।
