न हि पश्यामि संग्रामे कदाचिदपि कौरव । एकान्तसिद्ि)ि राजेन्द्र सम्प्राप्तक्ष धनंजय:,कुरुनन्दन! राजेन्द्र! मैं युद्धमें कभी ऐसा नहीं देखता कि किसी एक पक्षकी ही सफलता अनिवार्य हो। लो, अर्जुन आ पहुँचे हैं
na hi paśyāmi saṅgrāme kadācid api kaurava | ekāntasiddhiṁ rājendra samprāptas tu dhanañjayaḥ ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “โอ กุรพ (กุรพวงศ์), โอ พระราชา ข้าไม่เคยเห็นเลยว่าในสงครามชัยชนะจะเป็นของฝ่ายเดียวอย่างแน่นอน ดูเถิด—ธนัญชัย (อรชุน) มาถึงแล้ว”
