Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how righteous martial power is perceived as radiant and formidable. The imagery of “golden suns” suggests that a dharmic warrior’s weapon embodies disciplined energy and protective strength, inspiring reverence rather than mere fear.

Uttara is identifying or describing Nakula’s weapon, portraying it as extraordinarily brilliant—so radiant that it appears to contain blazing, golden suns. The description conveys the exceptional prowess associated with the Pandavas’ arms in the Virata Parva setting.
