Transliteration

tato virāṭaḥ praskandya rathād atha suśarmaṇaḥ | gadāṃ gṛhītvā tvarito 'bhidudrāva tam eva ca ||

Translation

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า ครั้นแล้วพระเจ้าวิราฏะก็ผุดลุกกระโจนลงจากรถศึกของสุศรมะ คว้ากระบองไว้ในพระหัตถ์แล้วพุ่งตรงเข้าหาเขา แม้ทรงชราแล้ว วิราฏะก็ยังเคลื่อนไหวในสมรภูมิประหนึ่งนักรบหนุ่ม
