धर्मतश्वैव गुप्तास्ते सुवीर्येण च पाण्डवा: । न नाशमधिगच्छेयुरिति मे धीयते मति:,'पाण्डव अपने धर्म तथा उत्तम पराक्रमसे सुरक्षित हैं। अतः वे नष्ट नहीं हो सकते, यह मेरा निश्चित विचार है
dharmataś caiva guptās te suvīryeṇa ca pāṇḍavāḥ | na nāśam adhigaccheyur iti me dhīyate matiḥ ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า— ปาณฑพทั้งหลายได้รับความคุ้มครองทั้งด้วยธรรมและด้วยวีรภาพอันยอดเยี่ยม ดังนั้นข้าพเจ้ามั่นใจแน่วแน่ว่า พวกเขาจะไม่ถึงความพินาศ
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse asserts that steadfast dharma, joined with proven courage, functions as a real safeguard: those who are grounded in righteousness and capable action are unlikely to be overcome by calamity.
Vaiśampāyana offers his confident assessment about the Pāṇḍavas’ fate, stating that their adherence to dharma and their heroic strength ensure they will not be destroyed, reinforcing reassurance amid uncertainty in the Virāṭa episode.
