Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 22 — Draupadī’s Abduction Attempt and Bhīma’s Suppression of the Kīcakas
तलाभ्यां स तु भीमेन वक्षस्यभिहतो बली । कीचको रोषसंतप्त: पदान्न चलित: पदम्,इतनेमें ही भीमने दोनों हथेलियोंसे कीचककी छातीपर प्रहार किया। चोट खाकर बलवान् कीचक क्रोधसे जल उठा, किंतु अपने स्थानसे एक पग भी विचलित नहीं हुआ

ครั้นแล้ว ภีมผู้มีกำลังได้ใช้ฝ่ามือทั้งสองตบกระแทกลงที่อกของกีจกะผู้ทรงพละ เมื่อถูกกระทบ กีจกะก็เดือดดาลด้วยโทสะ ทว่าเขายังมิได้ขยับแม้เพียงก้าวเดียวจากที่ยืนอยู่
