कि नु मां मन्यसे पार्थ सुखिनीति परंतप । एवं दुःखशताविष्टा युधिष्ठिरनिमित्तत:,कुन्तीनन्दन! शत्रुदमन! क्या तुम समझते हो, यह सब देखकर मैं सुखी हूँ। राजा युधिष्ठिरके कारण ऐसे सैकड़ों दुःख मुझे सदा घेरे रहते हैं

ki nu māṁ manyase pārtha sukhinīti parantapa | evaṁ duḥkhaśatāviṣṭā yudhiṣṭhira-nimittataḥ ||

“โอ้ ปารถะ โอ้ ผู้เผาผลาญศัตรู—เจ้าคิดหรือว่าข้าสุข? เพราะยธิษฐิระ ข้าถูกห้อมล้อมด้วยความทุกข์นับร้อยอยู่เนืองนิตย์”
