दमयन्तीस्वयंवरः — देववेषधारणं, सत्यप्रार्थना, नलवरणम्

तावर्चयित्वा मघवा तत: कुशलमव्ययम्‌ | पप्रच्छानामयं चापि तयो: सर्वगतं विभु:,उन दोनोंकी पूजा करके भगवान्‌ इन्द्रने उनसे उन दोनोंके तथा सम्पूर्ण जगत्‌के कुशल- मंगल एवं स्वस्थताका समाचार पूछा

tāv arcayitvā maghavā tataḥ kuśalam avyayam | papracchānāmayaṃ cāpi tayoḥ sarvagataṃ vibhuḥ ||

ครั้นบูชาทั้งสองแล้ว มฆวาน (พระอินทร์) ผู้ทรงอานุภาพและแผ่ไปทั่ว จึงตรัสถามถึงกุศลมงคลอันไม่เสื่อมสูญ และไถ่ถามด้วยว่าทั้งสองปราศจากโรคาพาธและอยู่ดีหรือไม่
