कुन्तीगर्भगोपनम् तथा मञ्जूषाप्रवाहः
Kuntī’s concealed childbirth and the river-borne casket
जह्नषुर्देवगन्धर्वा दृष्टवा शक्रपुरोगमा: । अल्पावशेषमायुश्च ततो$मन्यन्त रक्षस:
jahnuṣur devagandharvā dṛṣṭvā śakrapurogamaḥ | alpāvaśeṣam āyuś ca tato 'manyanta rākṣasāḥ ||
เมื่อเหล่าเทพและคนธรรพ์ซึ่งมีศักระ (อินทรา) นำหน้าได้ปรากฏ ก็พากันยินดีโสมนัส ส่วนรากษสทั้งหลายกลับตระหนักว่าอายุของตนเหลืออยู่น้อยนัก และความพินาศใกล้เข้ามาแล้ว
