रावण–मारीचसंवादः तथा मृगप्रलोभनपूर्वकं सीताहरणोपक्रमः

निर्ममा निरहड्कारा निर्दधन्द्धा: संयतेन्द्रिया: । ध्यानयोगपराश्षैव तत्र गच्छन्ति मानवा:,जो ममता और अहंकारसे रहित, सुख-दुःख आदि द्वद्धोंसे ऊपर उठे हुए, जितेन्द्रिय तथा ध्यानयोगमें तत्पर हैं, वे मनुष्य ही उस लोकमें जा सकते हैं

nirmamā nirahaṅkārā nirdvandvāḥ saṃyatendriyāḥ | dhyānayogaparāś caiva tatra gacchanti mānavāḥ ||

ทูตเทพกล่าวว่า “มีเพียงผู้ไร้ความยึดถือและความถือตัว ผู้ก้าวพ้นคู่ตรงข้ามอย่างสุขและทุกข์ ผู้สำรวมอินทรีย์ และผู้ตั้งมั่นในโยคะแห่งสมาธิเท่านั้น ที่ไปถึงแดนนั้นได้”
