रावण–मारीचसंवादः तथा मृगप्रलोभनपूर्वकं सीताहरणोपक्रमः

ईर्ष्याोशोकक्लमापेता मोहमात्सर्यवर्जिता: । सुखं स्वर्गजितस्तत्र वर्तयन्ते महामुने,महामुने! जो अपने सत्कर्मोद्वारा स्वर्गलोकपर विजय पा चुके हैं, वे वहाँ बड़े सुखसे जीवन बिताते हैं। उनमें किसीके प्रति ईर्ष्या नहीं होती, वे कभी शोक तथा थकावटका अनुभव नहीं करते एवं मोह तथा मार्सर्य (द्वेषभाव)-से सदा दूर रहते हैं

īrṣyāśokaklamāpetā mohamātsaryavarjitāḥ | sukhaṃ svargajitas tatra vartayante mahāmune ||

ทูตสวรรค์กล่าวว่า “โอ มหาฤๅษี ผู้ที่ได้ครองแดนสวรรค์ด้วยบุญกุศลของตน ย่อมดำรงอยู่ที่นั่นด้วยความสุข เขาปราศจากความริษยา ไม่ประสบโศกหรือความอ่อนล้า และไม่ถูกแตะต้องด้วยความหลงและความพยาบาท”
