हस्त्यश्वरथपादातं यथास्थानं न्यवेशयत्‌ । रास्तेमें एक ऐसा स्थान मिला जहाँ घास और जलकी सुविधा थी। दुर्योधन अपने वाहनोंको वहीं छोड़कर एक सुन्दर एवं रमणीय भूभागमें अपनी रुचिके अनुसार ठहर गया। हाथी, घोड़े, रथ और पैदल सैनिकोंको भी उसने यथास्थान ठहरनेकी आज्ञा दे दी

Transliteration

hasty-aśva-ratha-pādātaṃ yathā-sthānaṃ nyaveśayat |

Translation

ทุรโยธนะจัดให้ช้าง ม้า รถศึก และทหารราบตั้งอยู่ตามตำแหน่งอันควร ครั้นพบที่ริมทางซึ่งมีหญ้าและน้ำอุดม เขาจึงให้จอดพาหนะไว้ที่นั่น แล้วตั้งค่ายตามใจปรารถนาในภูมิประเทศอันงดงามรื่นรมย์
