The Deer’s Dream-Appeal and the Move to Kāmyaka
भवन्ति भेदा ज्ञातीनां कलहाश्च वृकोदर । प्रसक्तानि च वैराणि कुलधर्मो न नश्यति,भीमसेन! ज्ञाति अर्थात् भाई-बन्धुओंमें मतभेद और लड़ाई-झगड़े होते ही रहते हैं। कभी-कभी उनमें वैर भी बँँध जाते हैं; परंतु इससे कुलका धर्म यानी अपनापन नष्ट नहीं होता
bhavanti bhedā jñātīnāṁ kalahāś ca vṛkodara | prasaktāni ca vairāṇi kuladharmo na naśyati, bhīmasena ||
ยุธิษฐิระกล่าวว่า—“โอ วฤโกทร! ในหมู่ญาติย่อมมีความแตกต่างและการวิวาทเป็นนิตย์ บางคราวความอาฆาตก็ฝังแน่น; แต่กุลธรรม—สายใยแห่งความเป็นพวกพ้อง—หาได้พินาศเพราะเหตุนั้นไม่ โอ ภีมเสน!”
