सत्यभामया द्रौपद्याश्वासनम्

Satyabhāmā’s Consolation of Draupadī

अभिधावतु मां वक्ित्‌ पुरुषस्त्रातु चैव ह । पतिं च मे प्रदिशतु स्वयं वा पतिरस्तु मे,वह कह रही थी “कोई वीर पुरुष दौड़कर आये और मेरी रक्षा करे। वह मेरे लिये पति प्रदान करे या स्वयं ही मेरा पति हो जाय”

abhidhāvatu māṁ kaścit puruṣas trātu caiva ha | patiṁ ca me pradiśatu svayaṁ vā patir astu me ||

นางร้องว่า “ขอให้บุรุษผู้กล้าหาญสักคนรีบมาหาและคุ้มครองข้าเถิด เขาจงหาสวามีให้ข้า หรือไม่ก็ให้เขาเองเป็นสวามีของข้า”
