अद्रोहो नाभिमानश्र ह्वीस्तितिक्षा दम: शम: । धीमन्तो धृतिमन्तश्न॒ भूतानामनुकम्पका:

adroho nābhimānaś ca hrīs titikṣā damaḥ śamaḥ | dhīmanto dhṛtimantaś ca bhūtānām anukampakāḥ ||

ความไม่พยาบาท, ไร้ความทะนงตน, ความละอายอันงาม, ความอดทน, การข่มใจ, และความสงบภายใน—ผู้มีปัญญาและมั่นคงย่อมมีเมตตากรุณาต่อสรรพสัตว์ทั้งปวง
