Adhyāya 208: Aṅgirasī-kanyāḥ

कृतात्मा धर्मवित्‌ तस्यां व्याधो निवसते किल । त॑ गच्छाम्यहमद्यैव धर्म प्रष्ठूं तपोधनम्‌,“कहते हैं, वहाँ एक पुण्यात्मा धर्मज्ञ व्याध निवास करता है। मैं उस तपोधन व्याधसे धर्मकी बात पूछनेके लिये आज ही उसके पास जाऊँगा'

kṛtātmā dharmavit tasyāṃ vyādho nivasate kila | taṃ gacchāmy aham adyaiva dharmaṃ praṣṭuṃ tapodhanam ||

“เขาว่ากันว่า ณ ที่นั้นมีพรานผู้ข่มตนและรู้ธรรมพำนักอยู่ วันนี้เองเราจะไปหาเขา—ผู้อุดมด้วยตบะนั้น—เพื่อไต่ถามเรื่องธรรม”
