Adhyāya 208: Aṅgirasī-kanyāḥ
Enumeration of Aṅgiras’ daughters and attribute-names
cintayānaḥ svadharmasya sūkṣmāṃ gatim athābravīt | śraddadhānena vai bhāvyaṃ gacchāmi mithilām aham ||
Dharma can be subtle and difficult to judge, so one should deliberate carefully and then act with śraddhā (trust/faith) rather than paralysis or cynicism; ethical action requires both discernment and committed resolve.
After inwardly considering the fine nuances of his duty, the speaker reaches a decision: he should place trust in what has been said and therefore he resolves to go to Mithilā.
