मनुना च प्रजा: सर्वा: सदेवासुरमानुषा: । स्रष्टव्या: सर्वलोकाश्ष यच्चेड़ं यच्च नेड़ति

manunā ca prajāḥ sarvāḥ sadevāsuramānuṣāḥ | sraṣṭavyāḥ sarvalokāś ca yac cedaṃ yac ca neḍati ||

“และโดยมนู พึงให้กำเนิดสรรพประชา—ทั้งเทวะ อสูร และมนุษย์—รวมทั้งสรรพโลกทั้งปวง; อนึ่ง สิ่งใดในที่นี้ที่เคลื่อนไหว และสิ่งใดที่ไม่เคลื่อนไหว (เป็นของนิ่งเฉย) ก็พึงถูกสร้างขึ้น”
